Abstract

Claims that although Michael Slater’s work on the Dent Uniform Edition of Dickens’ Journalism, demonstrated by Vol. 2, The Amusements of the People and Other Papers: Reports, Essays and Reviews 1834-1851 (1996) is not a definitive scholarly text, it will be of great use to students of Dickens because it brings together many works hitherto uncollected.
