Abstract

Praises Millgate’s decision to select from the multi-volume Collected Letters which he edited with Richard Purdy three hundred letters for publication in a single volume. Similarly, suggests scholars are well served to have a reprint of Harold Orel’s 1966 collection of Hardy’s fugitive pieces.
