Abstract

Finds both books useful contributions to the growing body of scholarship on Morris. Especially satisfied with the analysis of Morris’ socialist ideology in several essays in Boos’ volume; believes Kirchoff does a credible job explaining how Morris developed a sense of self, but finds the work too long.
