Review of Stanley Weintraub, ed., Bernard Shaw on the London Art Scene, 1885-1950
Abstract
Claims this is an important edition for scholars of Shaw’s work, not only because Shaw’s essays on theater are collected for ease of examination, but also because Weintraub provides an insightful introductory essay. Faults the editorial apparatus for being inconsistent and repetitive.
