Abstract

Finds Cohen’s scholarship excellent in that he provides numerous anecdotes not collected in other books about Dodgson. Though Cohen’s comments about Dodgson’s character in his introduction may be sympathetic, the portrait of Dodgson’s relationship with children is accurate.
